  • Designs, develops and modifies software applications and components; supports and/or installs software applications and components; works from written specifications and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the role. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Utilize established development tools, guidelines and coding conventions including but not limited to Visual Studio, ASP.NET, MVC, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#/VB.NET to develop world-class software applications.
  • Business Development involves scheduling appointments, preparing and delivering presentation to the client, having researched their business and requirements.
  • Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects.
  • Participate in regular design and code reviews with development team members to confirm use of best practices.
  • Contribute to meeting project and product development goals on-time and on-budget.
  • Understand and evaluate new technologies, develop skills in new technologies.
  • Complete special projects and assignments as assigned.

Key skills and qualifications

  • A degree or equivalent qualification is recommended.
  • Hands-on experience in designing interactive applications.
  • Utilize established development tools, guidelines and coding conventions including but not limited to Visual Studio, ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#, MVC/VB.NET to develop world-class software applications.
  • Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL.
  • Experience with test-driven development.
  • Ability to document requirements and specifications.
  • Familiarity with software development methodology and release processes.
  • Independent development experience, able to do R&D, troubleshooting with .Net (c#,MV,VB.net,asp.net).
